使用断路器来保护电动机,必须注意电动机(主交流感应电动机)两个特点:其一是具有一定过载能力;其二是起动电流通常是额定电流几倍(可逆运行或反接制动时可达十几倍)。电动机运行和顺利起动,选择断路器时应遵循以下原则:
(1)按电动机额定电流来确定断路器长延时动作电流整定值。
(2)断路器6倍长延时动作电流整定值可返回时间要长于电动机实际起动时间。
(3)断路器瞬时动作电流整定值:笼型电动机应为8~15倍脱扣器额定电流;绕线型电动机应为3~6倍脱扣器额定电流。
